Seven athletes from Alex Foley's Academy of Martial Arts in the Goulds recently travelled as members of Team Canada to Killarney, Ireland to compete at the World Karate and Kickboxing Commission (WKC) World Championships where competitors from all over the world assemble to test their skills against some of the best in their particular discipline. The athletes returned to Newfoundland with 20 medals and five new world championship titles.
